How do I enable UPS Paperless Commercial Invoice for international shipments?

To enable Paperless Commercial Invoice for UPS, you will need to log in to your UPS.com account. By default, your UPS account does not support EDI and you have to print out physical commercial invoices when shipping packages internationally.

To set up UPS Paperless Invoice, you'll need the following:

  • The UPS Online username/password associated with the UPS account number you wish to use
  • A digital image of your company letterhead
  • A digital image of your signature
When you have all these items ready and are logged in to the UPS website, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to the Accounts and Payment Options page: https://wwwapps.ups.com/ppc/ppc.html?loc=en_US#/payment
  2. If you have more than one account number listed then click on the Nickname of the account you wish to enable for EDI. From the drop-down menu, select View Account Details:
